ABOUT
As Glass Packaging Product Design Manager at Şişecam, I am leading two design teams in Türkiye and Russia. I manage a team that responds to the design needs of a total of 10 glass packaging production facilities: 3 in Turkey, 5 in Russia, 1 in Georgia and 1 in Hungary.
Soon after I graduated as the third highest-ranking student from the Industrial Design Department at Anadolu University, I started to work as an industrial designer at Şişecam. After 5 years, I became a design supervisor for the Product Design Department.
In my 18-year career at Şişecam, I have 78 registered product designs and 35 awards in prestigious national and international design competitions, including WPO's World Star, AsiaStar Awards, Design Turkey Superior Design Award.
I was included in the list of "50 Most Influential People of the Turkish Design World" in the August 2017 issue of Turkishtime.
In addition, I'm serving as a consultant in Anadolu University Arts and Design Practice and Research Center and contributing to the improvement of design education provided at the university to prepare students for the conditions of the real market.

TEACHING EXPERIENCE
I taught Industrial Glass Studio about 1,5 year in the department of "Ceramic and Glass" of Mimar Sinan University. I gave this lesson in two languages for both Erasmus and Turkish Students.
My students learned creating their design concepts on given project topic. After designing process, they prepared their designs' mold and glass prototypes. Finally, they made presentations with these glass prototypes and storyboard of their designs. During these studio classes all the students were informed about glass packaging and industrial design.
Some of the students were architect, some industrial designer or ceramic artist. So, they combined their profession with their designs. At the end of the semester there were so different and creative glass packages.

Creative solutions are important for the success. During my career of 18 years , I always believe the designer's responsibility begins with the idea and never ends until customer needs fulfilled.
In the design process, I know the power of creating high quality end product images at an early stage enabling customers to see the details and materials as close to reality as possible. These renderings can also used for packaging and advertising purposes.
